Salinee Tavaranan
Director
Salinee was born in Thailand and grew up in Phuket. Salinee completed a masters in Solar Engineering at the University of Massachusetts in 2003, she moved back to Thailand in August 2005 to work with renewable energy issues in her homeland.
Mongkon (M) Deesripeng
Operations Manager
M was born in Chongkaep sub-district, Poappra district, Tak province. He graduated with a bachelors degree from the Department of Industrial Technology in Lumpang province and majored in production technology. M joined BGET in February 2008. He is outgoing, enjoys working, is easygoing, and loves everyone. He also loves to play football (soccer) and is a big fan of Manchester United.
Salai Jobson
Project Coordinator
Salai Jobson was born in Chin State, in Burma; he grew up in Yangon in an orphanage until he graduated from Dagon University where his focus was psychology. He arrived in Thailand in 2007 and studied at a migrant school. He passed an entrance exam to study at Wide Horizons, a program dedicated to training displaced Burmese young adults with skills they can use to improve communities on the Thai-Burma border. He completed the Wide Horizons program on 2 April and started working with BGET on April 20, 2011. He loves playing guitar and singing songs. Jobson speaks Chin, Burmese, Mizo, English, a little French and basic Thai.
Htun Lwin
Training Manager
Htun Lwin (Htoot) was born in Burma, Karen state. He graduated from a Community College of Project Management called Wide Horizons in Mae Sot in April 2, 2011, and joined BGET in April 20, 2011. Htoot can speak Skaw Karen, Pwo Karen, Burmese, and Pa “O” very well. He can also speak English and a little Thai. Outside of BGET, he likes joking with his friends.
Mayuree Udomsrimongkol
Administration Manager
Mayuree or Film was born in Phopphra district, Tak province, Thailand. She graduated from Khampaengphet Ratjaphat University with bachelor’s degree in Business English. She joined BGET in March 2012. She has a good relationship with everyone. She enjoys working with multicultural people in the border area (Migrant, Refugees, and Thai).
Natakorn Darakamon
Installation Technician
Natakorn or Meow was born in Mae Song, Tak Province, Thailand. She graduated from Eden Valley Academy in Mae La camp. She joined BGET in October 2012. Meow can speak Skaw Karen, Thai, English and a little Burmese. She likes singing songs and teasing with her friends.
Chamaiporn Prawatwongwaree
Procurement Manager
Chamaiporn (Mile) was born in Mae Sot, Thailand. She joined BGET in October 2012. She graduated from Kamphaengphet Rajabhat University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art in Public Administration, and she has experience working in multi-cultural setting with refugee communities. She likes to work in a team environment as well as on her own initiatives. She is committed to the work of BGET and likes to play with the kids.
