Biogas
Recycling local, organic waste materials into cooking fuel.

BGET works to improve access to clean energy for cooking with biogas for children’s communities including student dormitories, orphanages, and migrant schools. Biogas installations take advantage of existing surpluses of raw materials (animal dung and vegetable waste) which can be converted to methane for cooking as well as fertilizer for plants and vegetable gardens. Biogas also helps reducing the cost of cooking gas or replacing the old traditional fuels such as firewood. |
