Our vision for a training and demonstration site for sustainable development practices.
Through development of a Sustainable Living and Learning Center, BGET aims to be a regional hub for allowing renewable energy and appropriate technologies to be tested, demonstrated, and trained. The center will highlight BGET technologies such as solar electric and biogas while demonstrating their integral incorporation into other complementary sustainable living strategies such as earthen building, permaculture, improved cooking methods, and water and sanitation. The center will also provide ethnic children, orphans, and refugees with the vocational skills essential for their future and livelihoods.
